Come this Wednesday evening and the stage will be all set for history to repeat itself. The defending champions will be taking on the runner-up from the last year's IPL.
IPL 2016 ended on a high, with both the teams Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore competed in a cut-throat battle, with Hyderabad being the better of two at the end. Bangalore would have all the memories from the match as they once were on the top and lost the match to the best bowling side.
Well, things are some different this year. Virat Kohli injured and not able to join the team, AB De Villiers also missing the initial games of the IPL, it would be a tough task for Challengers to be on the winning side. However, Sunrisers are in no mood to leave any stone unturned. Tom Moody, head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad is training the boys and is not taking Bangalore lightly in the absence of two key veterans.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Moody said, "Tomorrow's night is going to be a difficult match for us regardless of the fact that we have beaten them in last year finals or they are missing out on their key players. At the end of the day, you have 120 balls with bat and ball and it is down to small margins. We have to make sure we get everything right on the night to secure our first win."
Sunrisers Hyderabad is looking in good shape and will be playing in the tournament with full force. They have pretty well-balanced batting side with the lights of David Warner, Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan. The bowling will be led by Mustafizur Rehman and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. Moody is also confident of the Afghanistan duo coming in, as Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan would be adding the versatility into the team.
